Requisition Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the automation, deployment, and lifecycle management of on-premises infrastructure and software platforms operating in secure, air-gapped environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, Linux systems, and delivering highly reliable services at scale.
Roles and Responsibilities Automation & Configuration Management Develop and maintain automation and configuration management solutions for deploying microservices within cluster using Ansible, Bash and Python. Automate server provisioning, application deployments, patching, and operational workflows. Continuously improve platform reliability through automation and self-service tooling. Infrastructure & Virtualization Design, implement, and release an end-to-end Ansible project that sets up the virtualization environment on bare metal in air-gapped, on-premises environments. Configure and provision high-performance KVM hypervisor nodes and underlying virtualization hosts seamlessly through code. Build automated workflows for rapid VM creation, template management, and resource allocation. Build & Release Package Create, maintain, and optimize native Linux packages (.deb and .rpm) for software distribution. Build and manage Docker container images following industry best practices.
