Requisition Description
An experienced DevOps professional with 68 years of expertise in Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD, Git, Docker, Ansible, Shell/Bash, Linux administration, YAML, and Python, who has evolved from hands-on execution into a strategic, architecture-level role. The candidate should have a strong track record of designing DevOps strategy and standards across multiple teams or business units, owning infrastructure and automation architecture end-to-end, and driving organization-wide operational maturity. This role requires proven experience managing multiple DevOps teams or leads, setting technical direction, owning escalations for critical production incidents, and acting as the final technical authority on release, deployment, and infrastructure decisions. The candidate should be comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders (Engineering leadership, Architecture, Product, and Security) to align DevOps strategy with business priorities, while also being hands-on when deep technical intervention is required.


Roles and Responsibilities Design, manage, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for multiple applications and environments.Lead and support deployment and lifecycle management of applications on Kubernetes (K8s), including Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, and troubleshooting.Manage Git-based source code workflows, including branching strategies, merging, release branches, hotfixes, tagging, and release activities.Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, Shell/Bash, and Python to reduce manual operational effort.Automate application build, deployment, configuration, monitoring, environment provisioning, and routine operational activities.Troubleshoot complex deployment, infrastructure, networking, container, Kubernetes, and application-related issues across environments.Manage and standardize application configurations across development, testing, staging, and production environments.Work closely with Development, QA, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure reliable and predictable releases.Own and improve release processes, deployment checklists, rollback procedures, and production readiness activities.Implement deployment strategies such as rolling upgrades, blue-green deployments, and canary releases where applicable.Monitor CI/CD and Kubernetes environments and proactively identify reliability, capacity, and operational risks.Support incident analysis, root-cause analysis, and implementation of preventive and corrective actions.Improve infrastructure and deployment observability through logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.Ensure proper handling of credentials, secrets, access controls, and environment-specific configurations.Review automation, pipeline, and deployment changes and mentor junior DevOps engineers on engineering and operational best practices.Drive continuous improvement in deployment automation, release reliability, operational stability, and engineering productivity.
