Role - Network Administrator

Requisition Description

• The Network Administrator role involves maintaining our local and wide area networks.
• The Network Administrator works to ensure the reliability and performance of all network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as related services such as DHCP and DNS.
• The position requires experience in evaluating, configuring, and troubleshooting network architectures, and a working knowledge of associated peripherals and services.
• The successful candidate must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, as they will be addressing customer requests, performing network configurations, and providing technical support.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience working on Switches and routers (Cisco catalyst, Nexus, Dell Switches Preferred)
• VPC, HSRP and STP configuration.
• Network device security configuration.
• UTM and Firewall configuration and maintenance (Sonicwall, Fortigate)
• VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Design network security as per the requirement of customer.
• Monitoring of network devices.
• Use automation for network deployments.
• Diagnose customer reported problems or configuration issues and recommend possible solutions within agreed SLAs.
• Provide technical reviews of network documentation.
• Creating network design document such as HLD and LLDs
• Evaluation of new technology.

Must Have Skill Set:

• Provide L2 network support for switches and routers.
• Hands-on experience with data center network switches and routers (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Dell switches, Firewall).
• Detailed understanding of VPC, HSRP, STP configuration, UTM, and firewall configuration.
• Experience in creating scripts for automation of network deployments.
• Strong understanding of large-scale network architecture.
