Roles and Responsibilities Understand customer requirements, problem statements and business use cases. Document customer requirementsDesign ETL jobs, query objects, data marts, reports, and dashboards. Document technical design. Experienced in translating business requirements into design. Develop and test ETL jobs, query objects, data marts, reports, and dashboards. Understand Customers business domain and existing database schema. Design OLAP cubes, SQL reports, interactive Charts and Dashboards. Write stored procedures, functions, packages, scripts, and complex SQL Review existing report design, database schema, SQL code and provide recommendations to enhance performance, operational aspects etc.Work closely with customers for solution fine tuning and troubleshooting production issues. Efficient in task monitoring and status reporting to senior management, customers, and stakeholders. Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills which may require debugging at OS, database, or network level, if needed. Understanding of cloud deployment architecture and Big Data platforms would be added advantage (good to have skills)
